ChildDiary is a new product that aims at extending the communication between educators and parents by allowing educators to share “posts” – images and/or free text – with parents and manage the children’s daily records.
The idea is to allow creches and schools to stop using facebook and other social networks to share photos and other private information because they don’t guarantee children’s privacy. So in ChildDiary every child has its own private profile that is only accessible by the child’s parents and educators.
Apart from instant sharing, through ChildDiary creches can also save time by replacing the existing paper daily records with digital records that simplify the act of recording meals, nappies/toilet times and activities. Once more, privacy is the key and daily records are only visible to the child’s parents and staff members.
